Today we have raised a brilliant £280 for Comic Relief by enjoying a non uniform day and wearing our red noses! Mrs Jewitt couldn’t manage to keep her nose on while wearing her mask. Thank you to everyone who donated.
Once again, we thank everyone for following our one way system and to those of you who have supported our request by wearing a face covering in the yard, this is much appreciated. We have heard of problems with people blocking drives etc, in the streets surrounding the school. Please remember to park respectfully of the local residents. We also understand that a permanent traffic camera is due to be installed on Ashley Road.
If your child has any symptoms of COVID, please ensure they are taken for a test. You must inform us at school as soon as possible, stating when symptoms started and when the test is booked for/was taken. If your child is tested at the weekend, please contact me at [email protected]
Many of the children have been working really hard this week and I have been delighted to see so many good examples of work or hearing about positive behaviour and lovely manners. In short, it is just lovely having everyone back in school again.
Please note that the children will finish for the Easter break at the end of the day on Thursday 1st April and return to school on Monday 19th April. A list of dates for the remainder of this academic year will be placed in the newsletter, which will begin again next Friday.
Take care and have a nice, but safe weekend.
