Today the RNLI volunteers, Alex and Alex, visited Ashley Primary School and taught the children from Year 1 to year 5 all about water safety.
The main points we learned about were:
1 Stop and think
2 Stay together
3 Float
4 Call 999/112

The School Council were lucky enough to be invited to visit Jarrow Town Hall yesterday to have a look around and learn a little bit about the history of it. The children were fantastic ambassadors for our school as their behaviour was exceptional the entire afternoon. We learned lots about how a council works and we have some ideas that we would like to apply to our own School Council in the future. It was a fantastic visit!
