A fantastic opportunity has arisen, arranged though the official British Council, for the children in Miss Humphrey’s Year 5 class to have a pen pal with a child in South Tyneside’s twin town, Noisy-Le-Sec in France.

Our children have received a letter, photographs and examples of school work from the children who attend École élémentaire publique Boissière. – We have been working hard to write back to our new pen pals in French!
