Please read the information below, in preparation for the return of all pupils to school on Monday 8th March.

General Information

Everyone will still be required to follow the one-way route from the Ashley Road entrance, through the junior yard and onto the infant yard, before exiting via the gate on Temple Park Road. There will be staff outside to keep you right, so please don’t worry – you cannot possibly get lost! Nursery parents should use the gate leading to Nursery and then exit via Temple Park Road.

Start/Finish Times – the same as before this lockdown

Y5/6 – 8:40am / 3:10pm

Y3/4 – 8:50am / 3:15pm

Year 2 – 8:50am/3:15pm

Year 1 – 9:00am/3:30pm

Rec – 9:10am / 3:25pm

Nursery – 8:30/11:30 12:30/3:30pm

If you have more than one child, your older children should come to school when you drop off the youngest one. They should go into school through their own access door. The older children will also come out when the younger children finish. Please collect them on your way to collect the youngest, while following our one-way system. Please try to arrive at the time stated. We cannot have people waiting on the yard for any length of time and once children are collected, you should leave the premises immediately. Please do NOT hang around to speak to other parents.

As it is difficult to maintain social distancing at start/finish times, we would request that adults wear masks on the school premises.

Break times and lunchtimes will also be staggered, so children remain in their year group bubble.

Children in Rec/Y1/Y2 will receive a hot dinner on Mon/Weds/Fri and receive a packed lunch on Tues/Thurs. Children in Years 3-6 will have the option to have a hot dinner on Tues/Thurs.

Until further notice, children should only bring a coat, water bottle (ones with narrow mouthpiece rather than screw top are preferred the prevent spillages) and packed lunch, if required. Any work/books will be sent to and from home in a plastic wallet provided by the school.

If you have any further questions regarding this information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support in trying to create a system that can keep us all as safe as possible. This is very much appreciated at this challenging time. If this helps us to resume ‘normality’ as soon as is possible, then let’s stick to the rules.

We look forward to seeing you all on Monday 8th March!
