We have been following a new curriculum- we love it!
After many months our shrubs from The Woodland Trust finally arrived. Most of the children in the school have had the chance to go out and help plant some.
We have a range of shrubs growing and we are really pleased with how they are looking.
Thank you to everyone who helped to plant them out and we look forward to seeing them grow.
Today, Year 5 have enjoyed planting trees as part of our theme ‘growth’ for British Science Week.
Planting our new trees!
Year 5 loved joining in with activities for British Science Week. Take a look at our display which shows you some of our fantastic work!
Today we invented creatures that would live on Mars and tried to make our own slime!
This week is British Science Week, so over this week we will be doing multiple activities. Our first activity was going into the outdoor classroom and searching for and investigating earthworms. We identified the types of earthworms and how far down they burrowed by looking at the different features that they had.
