Normally at this time of year we would be starting to think about all of the wonderful things we had done over our year in Year 2. We would also be thinking about having our Sports Day and getting the sought after Ice-Lolly refreshment half-way through.
We’d be having assemblies where we would get the chance to say good luck and good bye to our Year 6 friends, prize giving for attendance and termly awards on top of lots of other really exciting things.
We would then be considering our move to Year 3 and meeting our new teacher and teaching assistant. If you hadn’t seen the post on the website from Mrs Todd, Miss Stratford’s children will have Mrs Royal and the children who were working with Mrs Jewitt, will go to Mr Bell.
So, we thought it would be nice if over this week you could reflect on the things you have achieved in Year 2.
What are you proud of?
What do you think you did really well?
What memories do you have?
You may also want to think about what things you’d like to do in Year 3 and the areas in which you’d like to improve.
It would be great if you could write this all down, on paper, in an email, use Purple Mash, type it up on a computer, your choice.
Whichever way you choose to do this, it would be fantastic if you could get it to school so that your new teacher can read it. You may also wish to include some information about yourself and your family, perhaps add a photo? It’s entirely up to you. Miss Stratford and I might have a sneaky peak too!
If you need any help or advice please do get in touch with us by email:

Please don’t forget you have access to Education City and Purple Mash (get in touch if you need log on details). In school we have been looking at telling the time and shape and the resources on Education City are fantastic.
Keep safe and the count down for Summer begins… 10 getty up’s!
