Football Boots!

6th May 2022N Rich

Do you have football boots in good condition that your son or daughter have grown out of, perhaps gathering dust in a cupboard? If so, our school would be very grateful for donations which we can ‘recycle’ by offering to others. We don’t even mind giving them a clean!

If you have any children’s football boots, in any colour or size and are happy to donate, please send to school for my attention.

Many thanks,

Mr Rich

Woodland Trust

5th April 2022Natalie Jewitt

After many months our shrubs from The Woodland Trust finally arrived.  Most of the children in the school have had the chance to go out and help plant some.

We have a range of shrubs growing and we are really pleased with how they are looking.

Thank you to everyone who helped to plant them out and we look forward to seeing them grow.

British Science Week Y1AM

1st April 2022A Milner

For British Science Week we used the focus of growth to concentrate on investigating trees.

First we planted new shrubs, then we looked at the different plants and trees already in our garden. Finally we searched for as many different living things that depend trees to thrive.

Y2LS Red Nose Day 2022

31st March 2022Miss Stratford

The children thoroughly enjoyed wearing fancy dress, non uniform and their pyjamas to raise money that will make a difference to people’s lives. Some children designed a habitat for their red nose and others used construction materials to build it. Fantastic! Thank you very much for your contributions.

Phase 1,Year 1

Y1 LS British Science Week 14.3.22

31st March 2022Miss Stratford

The children received a certificate in recognition of their work as scientists. During the week, they explored the school grounds and identified different trees then back in the classroom, labelled the different parts. Mrs Jewitt supported the children to plant Dogwood at the edge of the KS2 field which they really enjoyed. The children also studied the lifecycle of a plant. The children worked hard and the sessions were a great success.

Phase 1,Year 1
