Comic Relief Fun

18th March 2022Natalie Jewitt

Thank you to all of the really kind and generous donations today.  The children all looked great in their different outfits, I wish I’d put my pyjamas on now!

Our friends from ACDC put on a magnificent egg and spoon obstacle course which the nursery children loved.

The Tooth Teacher

15th March 2022Golightly

Carol the dental nurse came into school today to educate us on how to keep our teeth healthy.
It was very interesting and we learned a lot about how to look after our teeth. Carol told us that we should try to minimise the amount of sugar that we have and she explained the importance of snacks between meals being sugar free.

Y2 LS International week

8th March 2022Miss Stratford

Year 2 studied Scotland. The children found out facts about the country and were particularly interested in the Loch Ness Monster. Linking this with the Katie Morag stories, the children created their own ‘Bonny Loch Monster’ and wrote about it. They described its appearance and what it got up to. There were some excellent ideas. The children also created their own tartan and tasted oatcakes and shortbread. Yum!

It’s Friday again…

So sorry about nursery being closed this week, it has been really hard for us but it has been fantastic hearing from you on Seesaw and seeing some lovely photos and comments from your parents and carers.

If you’d like to do some Go Noodle go for it:

GO NOODLE

We also try and do some Yoga on a Friday and we use Cosmic Kids.  This is a great time to show your child how to remove their own shoes and socks (and then put them back on when they are finished).
